Fender Deluxe Reverb thru a Celestion Blue
By Gary |
Here is a video by: TubeBlasterOne that sounds interesting.
A blurb from his video: This is a Fender Deluxe Reverb tube amplifier played through a Celestion Alnico Blue 12″ speaker. The guitar is a Hamer Artist Custom using the Seymour Duncan Phat Cat P-90 style pickup in the neck position.
Nice tone, and yes he could blow the speaker if he wanted but he was backing off on the volume.

I have a Fender Blues Deluxe amp that is 3 years old. The distorted channel does not distort anymore; it plays just like the clean channel. One day the great distortion just stopped. Mystery to me. Any ideas what may have happened?

Hi,
Interesting, are the channel lights still functioning properly when you switch channels? Sounds like the amp is not switching over…usually the high gain side sounds crappy when it has a problem.
